Explosão de caminhão-tanque na Rodovia BR-101 atinge 27 veículos em Palhoça

Na tarde deste domingo, dia 06 de abril, um grave acidente foi registrado no quilômetro 233 da Rodovia BR-101, em Palhoça, Grande Florianópolis. Por volta das 13h30, um caminhão-tanque carregado com etanol tombou na altura do Morro dos Cavalos e explodiu, resultando em um incêndio que atingiu 24 automóveis e três carretas.

O motorista do caminhão e sua esposa sofreram queimaduras nos membros superiores e inferiores, sendo encaminhados à Unidade de Pronto Atendimento (UPA) de Pinheira. Outras três pessoas também ficaram feridas e foram socorridas por ambulâncias da concessionária responsável pelo trecho.

A Rodovia BR-101 foi totalmente interditada nos dois sentidos, causando congestionamentos significativos na região. Equipes do Corpo de Bombeiros e da Polícia Rodoviária Federal (PRF) atuaram no local para controlar as chamas e garantir a segurança. Vídeos divulgados nas redes sociais e reproduzidos abaixo mostram o momento em que o caminhão tomba e explode, evidenciando a gravidade do incidente.

Até o fechamento desta matéria, na noite do dia 06 de abril, as autoridades seguiam investigando as causas e trabalhando para a liberação total da rodovia. Motoristas foram orientados a buscar rotas alternativas até que a situação seja normalizada.

Confira, abaixo, os vídeos sobre o acidente, que circularam nas redes sociais, e as fotos divulgadas pelo Corpo de Bombeiros Militar de Santa Catarina, que deram apoio ao atendimento da ocorrência, juntamente com os seguintes órgãos: Polícia Rodoviária Federal, Polícia Militar, Defesa Civil, SAMU (com duas ambulâncias), Concessionária Autopista Litoral Sul (com três ambulâncias e três guinchos). Só de bombeiros militares e comunitários envolvidos, foram 36 profissionais, com equipes de São José, Palhoça, Garopaba, Imbituba e Pinheira.
