Durante a manhã e a tarde deste sábado, dia 29 de novembro, o Centro Municipal de Bem Estar Animal da Prefeitura de Itapoá realizou a 6ª edição da Feira de Animais. O evento, que ocorreu em frente a um pet shop da Avenida André Rodrigues de Freitas, em Itapema do Note, tinha como objetivo encontrar um lar para 20 cães que já castrados, desverminados e vacinados. Apenas os filhotes, por não suportarem a anestesia, não se encontravam castrados.

Até as 16h00min, uma hora antes de ser encerrada mais essa edição da feira, oito cães haviam sido adotados.

O Centro Municipal de Bem Estar Animal de Itapoá informa que casos de maus tratos e outras situações que coloquem animais em risco devem ser denunciadas à Vigilância Sanitária Municipal pelo telefone (47) 3443-8841, o mesmo número para quem tenha interesse em mais informações ou, mesmo, em saber como proceder para adotar um cão mantido pela entidade.

“É importante ressaltar que o Centro de Bem Estar Animal atende somente animais de rua que estejam doentes e denúncias de maus tratos. Nesses animais, também será realizada a castração e identificação. Depois disso, estarão disponíveis para adoção”, explica a Prefeitura de Itapoá.
