Por volta das 14h40 deste sábado, dia 06 de janeiro, uma ocorrência de afogamento foi registrada no mar da Barra do Saí em Itapoá.

De acordo com testemunhas, o bombeiro militar aposentado Luís Cavasini Neto, de 56 anos de idade, nadou em direção a uma corrente de retorno e foi arrastado para o fundo, não conseguindo sair sozinho do local. Luís chegou a ser socorrido pelos guarda-vidas, ainda consciente, mas teve uma parada cardiorrespiratória ao chegar na faixa de areia.

Uma equipe de ambulância do Corpo de Bombeiros Militar de Itapoá foi acionada para o local, assim como a aeronave Archanjo. Apesar do incansável trabalho de reanimação por cerca de 30 minutos, a parada cardiorrespiratória não pode ser revertida, sendo declarado, pela equipe médica no local, o óbito do bombeiro aposentado.

Luís Cavasini Neto era natural de Ampére (PR) e atuou muitos anos como bombeiro militar em Toledo (PR), onde residia atualmente e trabalhava como condutor de ambulância de empresa privada desde que se aposentou do Corpo de Bombeiros Militar.

  • Tiago moro em Guaíra, mas todo ano venho pra Itapoá, ontem aqui no balneário Cambijú, presenciei dois salvamentos por volta das 17 horas, como a equipe de salva vidas é muito preparada, rapidamente se lançaram na água e evitaram uma tragédia. Que as pessoas valorizem cada vez mais esses profissionais que se arriscam todos os dias. Gratidão 🙏.
