Itapoá fez parte do “World Cleanup Day” (Dia Mundial da Limpeza) neste sábado (18 de setembro). Trata-se de um movimento cívico que une 180 países e milhões de pessoas em todo o mundo para limpar o planeta. Esta foi a quarta edição da ação, que ocorre desde 2018.

Em Itapoá, a atividade focou em mutirões de limpeza da orla, com grupos de voluntários atuando na Barra do Saí, nas imediações das Três Pedras, em Itapema do Norte, e no Pontal. A Prefeitura de Itapoá apoiou a iniciativa por meio Secretaria Municipal de Meio Ambiente.
