Por volta das 12h50 desta segunda-feira, dia 16 de dezembro, um grave acidente envolvendo dois caminhões e um automóvel Chery QQ bloqueou por aproximadamente seis horas a rodovia PR-412 em Guaratuba (PR). O acidente, que ocorreu no km 24 da via que liga Guaratuba a Garuva, resultou na morte do casal que ocupava o automóvel.

Informações extraoficiais dão conta de que o Chery QQ trafegava no sentido a Guaratuba quando o motorista se perdeu em uma curva e colidiu frontalmente contra um caminhão contêiner que ia em sentido a Garuva. Um caminhão caçamba que também ia em sentido a Garuva não conseguiu frear a tempo e atingiu o contêiner. O local do acidente fica próximo do posto da PRE (Polícia Rodoviária Estadual) de Coroados, em Guaratuba.

A ocorrência bloqueou totalmente a Rodovia. O casal em óbito morava em Guaratuba e estava voltando de Curitiba quando se envolveu no acidente. Os motoristas dos dois caminhões tiveram apenas ferimentos leves.

Equipes da Polícia Rodoviária Estadual, do Corpo de Bombeiros, da Criminalística e do IML (Instituto Médico Legal) estiveram no local para a realização dos procedimentos necessários.

A rodovia acabou sendo liberada somente por volta das 19h.
