Na tarde da última terça-feira, dia 07 de novembro, um homem foi preso em flagrante furtando residências no bairro Barra do Saí, em Itapoá, graças aos olhares atentos dos vizinhos.

A Central de Emergência da Polícia Militar local recebeu uma informação através do 190 e da Rede de Vizinhos sobre um furto a residência em andamento na Rua 330 daquele bairro. A mensagem também foi postada no grupo da Rede de Vizinhos PMSC da Barra do Saí e serviu de alerta a todos. Alguns moradores saíram de suas casas para observarem o homem suspeito e acabaram ajudando na sua prisão.

Próximo do local, a Polícia foi abordada por moradores que informavam que o autor estava detido na mesma rua. Ele tinha abandonado os produtos do furto durante a fuga.

O autor já tem diversas passagens pelo mesmo crime, bem como envolvimento no tráfico de entorpecentes. Há alguns meses, foi reconhecido nas imagens das câmeras de monitoramento de uma residência, realizando um furto também na Barra do Saí.

No momento da prisão, ele informou onde abandonou a televisão furtada. Tratava-se de uma TV da marca LG, 42 polegadas. Ele ainda indicou a casa de onde a furtou.

A guarnição foi até o endereço citado e constatou o arrombamento.

O autor e o produto furtado, bem como as testemunhas, foram encaminhadas à Delegacia da Polícia Civil de Itapoá para os procedimentos legais.

Em Itapoá, já são 10 grupos unidos com a Polícia Militar no combate à criminalidade, e graças a essa união da comunidade com a PM, estamos, aos poucos, reduzindo os furtos.

A intenção do programa “Rede de Vizinhos da PMSC” é que os vizinhos atuem em cooperação, se associem para fomentar parcerias, fortaleçam as relações interpessoais e a cidadania ativa do bairro. O Programa também pretende melhorar a relação entre a polícia e comunidade, além de aumentar a vigilância natural, a fim de prevenir e restaurar problemas de ordem pública, garantindo a incolumidade física das pessoas e do patrimônio.
