Na manhã desse domingo, dia 23 de abril, foi realizada a Corrida Rústica 28º Aniversário de Itapoá.

Organizado através de uma parceria da Prefeitura de Itapoá e do Grupo privado Divando de Tênis, o evento contou com 160 inscritos e um bom público presente. Autoridades municipais também prestigiaram a Corrida, entre as quais o presidente da Câmara de Vereadores de Itapoá, JonecirSoares; o subtenente da Polícia Militar de Itapoá, Hermínio Sansinski; o secretário municipal de Turismo e Cultura, Claudio Lemonie; o diretor da Secretaria de Esporte e Lazer, Marcos Antônio Fontana; o secretario de Obras e Serviços Públicos, Wantuil (Tininho) José de Oliveira; e a diretora municipal de Saúde, Rochele Antoni. Representantes dos estabelecimentos comerciais que patrocinaram o evento também marcaram presença.

Diversos municípios de Paraná e Santa Catarina estiveram representados pelos atletas participantes: Almirante Tamandaré (PR), Araquari, Barra Velha, Blumenau, Campo Alegre, Campo Largo (PR), Campo Magro (PR), Colombo (PR), Curitiba (PR), Fazenda Rio Grande (PR), Florianópolis, Gaspar, Guaratuba (PR), Itapoá, Jaraguá do Sul, Joinville, Mafra, Matinhos (PR), Navegantes, Pinhais (PR), Pomerode, Ponta Grossa (PR), Rio Negro (PR), São Bento do Sul, São Francisco do Sul, São José dos Pinhais (PR), Tijucas (PR) e Xanxerê.
