Por volta das 15h30min dessa quinta-feira, dia 20 de abril, uma ocorrência de assalto a loja de celulares foi registrado pela Polícia Militar de Itapoá.

Os policiais foram acionados via Central para atender a ocorrência na qual dois homens armados fugiram de moto após realizarem a ação criminosa.

Ao realizar buscas nas imediações, a Polícia de Inteligência avistou uma moto com dois homens que possuíam as mesmas características dos suspeitos.

Quando receberam ordem de parada, eles fugiram em alta velocidade. A PM os acompanhou por toda a extensão da Rua 1000. Quando os suspeitos tentaram entrar com a motocicleta na areia, eles caíram, mas ainda sim, tentaram fugir a pé, cada um para um lado. O primeiro foi detido ainda na areia. Ele portava uma mochila contendo 17 aparelhos de celular, R$ 352,80 em dinheiro, além de um revólver calibre 38 com numeração suprimida e seis munições intactas. O segundo elemento foi perseguido até entrar em uma mata fechada, sendo preso em seguida.

Após os fatos, ambos foram encaminhados à Delegacia de Polícia Civil de Itapoá para as providência cabíveis, juntamente com a moto utilizada na fuga, uma Dafra vermelha com placas de Curitiba (PR).
